The mushrooms are up! Students from the IBM Excite Camp in 2017 planted King Stropharia beds and the first mushrooms are fruiting out this week. These mushrooms can grow very large so watch for updates here.
Mushrooms are not the only things happening . A Paw Paw tree (Asimina triloba) grown from seed has emerged. The Paw Paw is the northernmost tropical fruit and we have one starting up right in the back of the IBM Riverside location.
Also peeking out this week, some strawberry plants starting to show fruit and the asparagus looks great.
